SMITH: Our content is curated mostly through our community members by appropriateness, subject and learning standards. However, our staff and partners help with this process at a much lower level. Take, for example, smartphones. Most 6th- to 12th-grade students have a smartphone. Between my wife and me, we have five smartphones. We use two of them, which means my family has three wireless educational resources ready for an economically disadvantaged student to use.
